Safe to Cross

Hooray! We are excited to share that the Craycombe Road Stony Run pedestrian bridge is open again!

Many thanks to our community partners who made this emergency repair happen, Baltimore City Recreation and Parks, Baltimore Department of Public Works, RK&K, The Parks and People Foundation, Councilwoman Odette Ramos, and members and volunteers of The Friends of Stony Run whose advocacy and support are invaluable. We’re proud to have provided funding for the repair design.

The failing support structures for the bridge have been reinforced with stacked heavy bags filled with structural grout – allowing the current bridge to be used again temporarily while a permanent replacement is designed.  Stay tuned for the next round of improvements and plans for a permanent bridge.
